People are still reading pieces of On The Road on the radio this morning. It’s amazing how long that had lasted. The curtains were being pulled back even further then. He really hit it where he pointed the bat over the fence. Amazing. All eyes on Mongolia these days and the story to unfold there. The character traits are going to have to come from those who I brush up against here though. There is enough to draw from. That’s why New York is tough to leave.
There are dreams of a country life to be sure, but those only come from still images of paintings, not from experience. Nothing is as clean as all that. Thank goodness for WBGO – it’s helps to have a decent station like that in my life. Good stuff during the day. They had decent stations in Los Angeles to be sure, but during the day, they wouldn’t play enough heave bop, and those light goings on did little to halt what the sun was doing.
